Q1: What products do you use for hair and makeup?

SL: We use industry based hair and makeup products such as NAK, Goldwell, Redken, Keune, Face Atelier & Kryolan as well as professionally graded consumer products such as MAC, Makeup Forever, Charlotte Tilbury, and Makeup By Mario just to name a few.

Q2: How should I prepare for my hair and makeup appointment?

SL: For all makeup appointments we do ask for you to arrive with skin cleansed and exfoliated & a serum and moisturiser applied 30 min prior to your scheduled appointment. For hair services, this will be dependent based on what service you book in for - if you are booking in for a wash and blow-dry, no prep is needed as we will wash your hair for you, however if you are booking in for a style then the hair needs to be washed 24 hrs prior to your appointment and you need to arrive to your appointment with smooth, sleek hair.

Q3: How do I book a mobile artist in another state / country?

SL: After you have selected your preferred date and time you will be prompted to select your preferred stylist; each stylist has their allocated state / country next to their name to make it easier to know which stylists services which state.

Q4: Do you charge travel fees for mobile services?

SL: Yes, travel fees apply for our mobile hair and makeup services and are dependent on your location. Travel within close proximity to our stylists location may be included, while longer distances incur a fee based on travel time and logistics. We will do everything we can to minimise this expense for you by booking a stylist close to your home, work or event location.

Q5: How are long distance travel fees calculated?

SL: Travel fees are calculated based on distance, travel time and any additional team members required. A custom quote will be provided during the booking process and will be charged the day of your booking.

Q6: Are parking and tolls included in the travel fee?

SL: Parking fees, tolls, and valet charges will be added and included to your travel expenses and will be charged the day of your booking. If the location changes then additional travel time, toll charges, parking fees and valet charges may incur based on the new location and venue requirements.

Q7: Can I get a fixed quote for travel in advance?

SL: Yes, we provide transparent, upfront pricing. Your mobile hair and makeup travel quote will include all applicable travel costs so there are no surprises on the day.

Q8: Do you charge a waiting fee?

SL: We do not charge a waiting fee, however to ensure we are providing a quality service to each of our clients we will cut your service down based on how late or delayed you are to your appointment. We do not offer refunds or re-scheduling if you decide to cancel your appointment, on the day, due to time restraints or delays. Q9: Are all your team members qualified hair and makeup artists?

SL: All our stylists have completed either a Certificate III in hairdressing and / or a Diploma in Hair and Makeup styling meaning they understand the importance of health and hygiene, colour and how to conduct various application techniques. Every stylist on our team has had a Min. 5 years experience in the Corporate, Media, TV and Event Industry. Most of our team has also worked in retail cosmetics and have a vast amount of experience in customer service and operational business practices.
